The Office of the Vicar General serves to assist the Bishop in the governance and pastoral care of the Diocese of St Thomas in the Virgin Islands. We strive to ensure effective administration and coordination of diocesan activities, always in service of the Church's mission to proclaim the Gospel and care for the faithful.

Role of the Vicar GeneralThe Vicar General, appointed by the Bishop, possesses executive power over the entire diocese. Key responsibilities include:
- Diocesan Administration: Assisting the Bishop in the governance and management of the diocese.
- Representation: Acting on behalf of the Bishop in various ecclesiastical and civil matters when necessary.
- Coordination: Overseeing the coordination between different diocesan offices and ministries.
- Pastoral Planning: Collaborating with the Bishop in developing and implementing pastoral initiatives.
- Clergy Support: Providing support and guidance to priests and deacons of the diocese.
