Prayer of Cardinal Newmann for a Happy Death
Oh, my Lord and Savior,
support me in that hour
in the strong arms of your Sacraments,
and by the fresh fragrance of your consolations.
Let the absolving words be said over me,
and the holy oil sign and seal me,
and your own Body be my food,
and your Blood my sprinkling;
and let my sweet Mother, Mary, breathe on me,
and my Angel whisper peace to me,
and my glorious Saints (NN.) smile upon me;
that in them all, and through them all,
I may receive the gift of perseverance,
and die, as I desire to live,

ACT OF FAITH
My God, I firmly believe
that you are one God in three divine Persons,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Almighty eternal God,

I give you thanks,

The Divine Mercy chaplet is prayed on an ordinary 5 decade rosary.
Begin with the Sign of the Cross.

My Lord Jesus Christ,
who for the love you bear us,
remain night and day in this Sacrament,
full of compassion and of love,
awaiting, calling and welcoming
all who come to visit you.
I believe that you are present
in the Sacrament of the Altar.
I adore you from the abyss of my nothingness
and I thank you for all the graces
you have given me until now,
and in particular,
for having given me your Most Holy Mother Mary
as my advocate
and for having called me
to visit you in this church.
I now salute your Most Loving Heart,
and this for three ends:
first, in thanksgiving for this great gift;
second, to make amends to you for all the outrages
which you receive in this Sacrament
from all your enemies;
third, I intend by this visit to adore you
in all the places on earth
in which you are present in this Sacrament
and in which you are the least revered
and the most abandoned.
My Jesus, I love you with my heart.
I grieve for having until now so many times
offended your infinite goodness.
I purpose by your grace never more to offend you
for the time to come;
and now, miserable and unworthy though I am,
I consecrate myself to you without reserve.
I give you and renounce my entire will,
my affections, my desires, and all that I possess.
From now on, use me

Jubilee Prayer for the 250th Anniversary of the CathedralEternal Father,
In this, the Jubilee Year
of Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral,
we praise you for all the blessings
we have received
over the past 250 years of our existence.
We bless You for the lives
of all those who, throughout the centuries,
have helped build this vibrant community
of love and service.
May they rest eternally
in Your divine and merciful presence.
We give You thanks
for all the people that continue
to gather in this Cathedral to worship You,
striving to turn away from sin
and follow the teachings
of the faithful disciples of Your Son,
Jesus-Christ.
May Your Holy Spirit continue to lead us
on the path of faith, hope and charity,
so that in every aspect of our lives,
and inspired by the example
of our Patron Saints Peter and Paul,
we may always be
joyous witnesses of Jesus Christ,
