The Roman Catholic Diocese of St. Thomas is committed to being responsible stewards of the donations and contributions entrusted to us by our community. This Refund Policy outlines the Diocese's approach to handling refund requests.
Donations
As a non-profit religious organization, the Diocese does not offer refunds for donations made through our website or other channels. All donations are considered charitable contributions and are not subject to refund.
We understand that sometimes circumstances change, and we encourage donors to reach out to us if they have any concerns about their donations. However, in keeping with standard charitable giving practices, the Diocese does not provide refunds for completed donations.Event Registrations and Other Payments
For event registrations, program fees, or other types of payments made through the Diocese's website, refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of the Diocese's administration.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the original transaction. The Diocese reserves the right to deny any refund request that is deemed inappropriate or abusive.Cancelled Programs or Services
In the event that the Diocese cancels a program, ministry, or service for which people have pre-paid, the Diocese will issue full refunds for any unused portions of those fees or tuition.Force Majeure
In the case of diocesan closures, disruptions, or the cancellation of events due to unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, pandemics, etc.), the Diocese will communicate with affected parties regarding any adjustments to fees, tuition, or refunds.Payment of Refunds
Any approved refunds will be issued in the same form as the original payment, unless otherwise agreed upon. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of the final decision.Appeals
Individuals who wish to appeal a refund decision must submit a written request to the Diocese's administration within 14 days of the initial decision.Changes to This Policy
