FROM THE DESK OF THE PASTOR

The Nativity of the Lord
The Mass at Midnight

It little matters how you say it—“ Hodie Christus Natus Est”, "II est ne, le divin enfant" or "Christ is born today." The message is eternal and complete.

We rejoice in the words of the Bible: "For unto us, a child is born, unto us a son is given." "And the government shall be upon his shoulder and he shall be called, wonderful... counselor... the mighty God ... the everlasting Father... the Prince of Peace."

Never forget this, the greatest of all possible gifts. Never forget the one meaning anything at all has—for it comes from the one light that shines from the one birth for all. The angels trum- pet today in celebration of His birth—the entire heavenly host calls out and sings. And we join them!

Praise God, alleluia: Jesus Christ, our Lord, our God, our Friend and our true Counselor is born this day. He is born each day anew in our hearts as we allow it to happen.

And so, let all the world know the good news. Jesus has come for all and welcomes all to Him.

     “Hodie Christus natus est:
      hodie Salvator apparuit:
Gloria in excelsis Deo, alleluia.” Merry Christmas!!!!
