Second Sunday of Easter

Divine Mercy Sunday

April 7, 2013

Divine Mercy

TODAY (White) Acts 5:12-16; Rev 1:9-11a, 12-13, 17-19; Jn 20:19-31

NEXT WEEK (White) Acts 5:27-32, 40b-41; Rev 5:11-14; Jn 21:1-19

What did the disciples see that brought them to rejoice? His wounds assured them that this was the Jesus they had seen die. His tangible presence in their mist assured them that the Jesus they see now has come back from death to new life. The risen Jesus gives this new life to us and sends us forth as his disciples. So what do others now see that brings them to rejoice? This risen presence of Christ in and through us. Living liturgy

Pro-Life Religious Outreach
Although embryonic stem cells may receive the majority of media attention, the reality is that the adult stem cells have moved far ahead in providing patients benefits. The morality unobjectable adult stem cells have benefitted patients with damaged hearts, grown new windpipes to replace those damaged by disease, and supplied patients with blood transfusions grown from their own stem cells.
